  • It breaks my heart to read the reveiw that was written before mine. I am a member of this church and I call it home. We are a small congregation and treat everone as family. When one hurts we all hurt. Visitors are always welcome with a smile and fresh loaf of bread made by our greeters. Our minister Dennis and his wife Cindy go above and beyond their call. When my husband was laid off, and it was the only income we had, they helped us get through it. They gave from their own pockets. They are there any time of day or night. Small churches may not be rich in monetary but we are rich in closeness and love. Im not quite sure how someone that has only been to our church a hand full of times can say such things about us, but I hope it doesnt stop anyone from coming and making their own conclusion of us. Thanks for your time and God bless.

In 2001 my late father was dying of stomach cancer! I drove from Arkansas to help my grandpa and grandmother take care of my dying father! Dennis Floyd was following around my dying father, and grandparents! My grandfather Julius stated to me that Dennis Floyd was only doing this to get some money for East Park Church of Christ! Also while my grandfather was dying of congestive heart failure at Carle Foundation Hospital in 2003, once again Dennis Floyd was chasing the ambulance! I attended East Park Church of Christ from 2001 to 2005 with my grandmother trying to help her, as I had been baptized at the Church of Christ in Arkansas! Dennis Floyd and his staff did not give me the time of day while I was attending the church, and Ben White also told me that I should not finish my sentences in at, when he gave everyone in the congregation a religious book but me, this is what I was told when I asked for my book! On September 5, 2012 while I was washing my bedding at 4 North Shore Terrace a home that my grandfather built from his earnings at General Motors, a job that cost him his entire health I was forcefully removed by the police! I had been scrubbing the floor for my grandma Dathal Du Bois, and I opened the curtain to see my brother and grandma turn in the grandma's Saturn Vue, they drove away then came Dennis Floyd in his Chevrolet truck, then ten minutes later three of Danville's finest to remove me from the home that Julius promised would go to Michael Du Bois! Then as I was being removed without notice from my secure home, here come the three that hid behind the Danville Police Department! Dennis, John and my grandmother Dathal! My grandma is suffering from Alzheimer's related Dementia, and is very paranoid, I love her very much, but she needs professional care! John Du Bois my brother, and Dennis Floyd are trying to steal the home that my grandfather Julius built with blood, sweat and tears! Dennis wants money for the church which is going broke without members, I wonder why that is? And John who has a Master's Degree, and has never had a full time job is trying to dupe my grandma who is not in her right mind out of her and grandpa's estate! My late father and grandfather's wishes were that 4 North Shore Terrace not be sold, and that the property go to Michael the real grandson who was like Fred and Julius! Dennis FLoyd what type of compassion do you people teach? John remember Judas betrayed Jesus!
